ZoneRanger 5.6 Service Pack 1

Service Pack 1, scheduled for release in the upcoming weeks, includes a number of enhancements and new features designed to make the ZoneRanger even more robust. Building on existing features, the application will now provide even more control over who can access the ZoneRanger internally and externally. Service Pack 1 integrates some existing patches created since the release of version 5.6, these include:

• Improvements to backups, profiles, and redundancy
• Modifiable SSL certificate for HTTPS
• New property to suppress version mismatch warnings
• Ability to diagnose kernel crashes
• OpenSSL vulnerability
• Removal of insecure Diffie-Hellman ciphers
• Improvements to the ZoneRanger Audit and hardware monitoring

What’s New?

• Ability to Blacklist IP Addresses
• New Diagnostic Level user privileges
• Properties for modifying the max length of a Syslog
