RTP, NC (May 4, 2017) — Tavve Software Company, a cybersecurity software company and developer of the ZoneRanger™, proudly announces that its ZoneRanger 6.0 G-Series™ crypto module, which is used to encrypt and proxy insecure management protocols across firewall boundaries and between high-side/low-side networks, has earned a FIPS 140-2 Level 1 validation (NIST CMVP certificate #2868).
The ZoneRanger™ and ZoneRanger G-Series™ are purpose-built, high-security network appliances which have been designed to replace the hundreds of open firewall ports used for passing management traffic (SNMP, ICMP, Syslog, etc.) through a single encrypted port. The impact of the ZoneRanger™ and ZoneRanger G-Series™ is a significant reduction in the network attack surface and the elimination of thousands of hours of labor required to write, document, and maintain firewall rules.
The ZoneRanger and ZoneRanger G-Series are 100% vendor independent, meaning they support ANY firewall, ANY endpoint device, and ANY management application (NNMi, Solarwinds, NeuralStar, ArcSight, Splunk, etc.). Both models can be deployed as physical or virtual appliances. The ZoneRanger G-Series is further hardened to meet the FIPS 140-2 requirements and only available to US government entities.
About Tavve Software Company: Tavve Software Company is a US-owned small business and US-based provider of highly specialized cybersecurity solutions including the ZoneRanger™.
