Doug Austin, CEO/President
Doug brings to Tavve 20+ years of technical sales experience. His start-up experience in emerging technology companies matches Tavve’s current market position and future direction.
Prior to Tavve, Doug was a co-founder and VP/Sales & Business Development for Onion Peel Software. He was also responsible for operations, marketing, and strategic partnerships. Doug orchestrated the sale of Onion Peel to Netplex (NASDAQ: NTPL). After managing Onion Peel as a Netplex business unit, Doug initiated the sale of Onion Peel Solutions to Tavve. Prior to founding Onion Peel, Doug was in technical IT sales for iLan, McCormick-Nunes Company, HP, and EDS.
Doug holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Appalachian State University.
Louie Yilling, VP – Federal Business Development, CFO/COO
Louie Yilling has 25+ years of experience in business development, financial reporting, administration, operations, and sales-support for technology, manufacturing, and service companies with particular focus on turnaround and startup situations.
Prior to Tavve, Louie was in financial, operational, and sales leadership positions at companies developing, producing, and distributing medical devices (implants), industrial microwave systems, plastic component parts, printed circuit boards, plastic carry-cases and specialty totes, metal fabrication, and textiles.
Louie holds a BA Degree from the University of West Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Elise Atkins, CIO
Elise brings 20 plus years of software development experience to the Tavve team. In the 15 years that Elise has been a part of Tavve, she has implemented numerous software modules. Her areas of expertise include ICMP, SNMP, Sylog and TFTP, RADIUS and TACACS+. She has covered the spectrum from providing customer support, identifying and implementing new features for our customers and ensuring the product meets customer specifications. Elise believes that Tavve products should meet the highest code quality possible. She and her team strive to deliver a defect-free product.
Before Elise joined Tavve, she was a software developer at IBM. She holds a patent relating to power supply designs.
Elise holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from Duke University.
